Pantone's Color of the Year - 2017
Drum roll please…. Pantone has announced the 2017 color of the year, and it is Greenery 15-0343!
Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, provides some insight into this unique selection, noting that “Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.”
This color selection is a marked change from previous Pantone colors of the years, which usually are in the blue and red families. The color combinations Greenery melds with are endless, from fun and bright to dramatic blues and purples to mellow and subdued. And, in your wedding, actual greenery that you can use includes many types of ferns, grass, leaves, moss, and eucalyptus.
