Carnegie Institution for Science Wedding
Anna and Ryan hired SRS Events to help them with full planning for their DC wedding. We started by searching Washington DC for the perfect venue to host their 150 guest reception! After touring Carnegie Institution Science, with its stately front facade, ornate portico and beautiful ballroom for dining, they knew it was the one! Anna had told me her favorite color was black, but didn't think it would be appropriate for a wedding. I told her we could definitely incorporate black into the design, but keep it classic and elegant! Take a look, and see for yourself! Foregoing a traditional wedding party, their doodle Sully, was the VIP (very important pup) of the wedding day. He was incorporated onto the wax seal used for invitations and menus, pictures at the Capital, the signature drink sign and cocktail napkins, cookies, and a surprise on the back of the cake!
PS - Their wedding day also happened to fall on the Nats' World Series Champions Parade, but despite tons of traffic and road closures, we got everyone to the church on time!
